I used to be a pretty hardcore gamer. Even after I moved in with the lady who turned out to be my wife in waiting(!) I’d occasionally slink into bed at around 5am after an all night session at Championship Manager or Total War. Let me tell you, getting up after two and a half hours sleep and having to pretend it’s been around 9 hours is no mean feat.
Now days my gaming is a lot more restricted due to having kids. I think the comic below from Penny Arcade sums it up rather well.
